I’ve been trying to ignore all the bullshit on Twitch and just go about doing my thing because I’ve realized that nothing I do or say will change anything about what’s going on but Twitch is still very much flooded with fake streamers and people using viewer bots – some to a rediculous degree and others probably use enough finess to mask it well.
In my opinion viewers seem way too trusting and forgiving, or maybe they just don’t care. Some seem perfectly fine with these moron streamers using their fake bots and playing with fake money argumenting that it’s “entertaining”. In my book however it’s a fraud, a scam and a crime and I don’t know how these people can look themselves in the mirror. Some are just too obvious and they can deny it however much they want but we still know. With some streamers it’s hard to tell to be honest and I’m really not that sure. Personally, when I’m not sure I tend to take a step back and just be very cautious. Usually I won’t even give them the light of day until I feel 100% confident.
But thankfully there are a bunch of streamers who I personally feel are 100% legit. I can’t prove it of course, but with common sense, experience, some human psychology and the way they gamble just tells me they are ok. Some of them probably concider me their competition and some of them I don’t approve of their politics on Twitch at all mind you, but I still respect them for their honesty and for being legit streamers who worked hard and took risks with their own hard earned money.
I won’t mention any names because I don’t need any drama. It’s up to everyone to make up their own minds and decide if they are going to give a shit or not.
So all in all, there’s a VERY limited amount of streamers I do trust to be legit. I’d say about 10-15 of them. I’m pretty sure there is so much money involved in this shit for some people that they’re willing to do anything to get where they want, even lie and cheat their viewers. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they went great lenghts with their bullshit making up fake deposits and withdrawals.
I also know for a fact that massive bet sizes attract viewers and personally I can never compete with that because, well I’m not a fake streamer nor do I have the economy to do those stupid bets on a regular basis, pissing away 5-10€ per spin, day in and day out.
Myself I go for personality, that’s what streaming is all about for me – not giveaways, not free stuff, not moron bets, or any of that crap. I enjoy the social aspect of all of this and even though I don’t have much time to enjoy watching other streamers these days, I still pop in now and then to watch some of my fellow streamers on Twitch.
I don’t really have a point with all of this, and I’m not bitter (honestly not because I’m not very competative when it comes to this). I just hate scammers, simple as that. My intention is not to put myself on the high horse or anything. My stream is probably shit anyways lol, but I’m fine with that. My ambition has never been to be the largest and most successfull of streamers. I live a good life and I have everything I need. I just think it’s insanely fun to stream and even more so to play slots which streaming allows me to do even more than I would normally and which was the reason why I started streaming in the first place lol. Good ol’ addiction to slots 😀
So this is a shoutout to all the legit streamers, you know who you are and a BIG fuck you to the rest of the lot.
